Northward Bound is part of Milliken’s D/LUX Series, Luxury Dematerialized, that has the following properties and looks incredible on the floor: Uses less raw material which reduced embodied carbon. Innovative use of yarn system and tufting technology. Acoustic technology that reduces in-room noise. Rated for severe traffic areas. Northward Bound is made using Thrive® matter, the lowest carbon footprint Nylon yarn available, with a carbon reduction of 89% lower than some virgin Nylon yarns. This is due to the use of 100% post-industrial recycled resin for a total of 90% recycled content (Recycled Content GreenCircle® Certified). It comes with Milliken’s cushion backing: WellBAC® Comfort as standard (90% recycled content) and is available with Traction Back® pressure sensitive adhesive on request, improving indoor air quality and offering a more flexible installation process.
